Tips and Tricks for Players who like Guides

Hi, hi!

While creating the game demo, I felt like I hadn't written enough as the demo mainly focuses on gameplay. So here's some stuff I wrote up that might help you!

General Tips

1. Each battle, the first Basic Attack costs no EN, but be careful as using up your last Normal Attack will end your turn
2. The ‘Appletite’ mechanic may be easy to miss if you do not scroll down the in-battle menu, but through it, you can gain HP and earn some LVLs
3. Characters will receive a unique passive by unlocking their basic attack’s EX (done through either campfires or LVL Ups available in the skill menu)
4. In battle, if your FA meter is full, get Upgrades to not miss out on FA that regenerates each turn
5. You can use your FA meter in harvest encounters to boost your odds of non-battle encounters as well as future harvest success odds
6. You can use your FA meter in shop encounters to boost the odds of an expanded shop inventory becoming available
7. If your screen shakes after a foe’s attack that means your status stacks have been reset! Plan accordingly if one of these foes is present.
8. Items (that only affect you) will gain you bonus LVLs
9. The final room of each depth will never be a battle encounter, unless…?
10. An easy way to gain levels is with TECH! Most TECH will gain you LVLs after each use!
11. After starting Final Encounter 2, the unique foe ‘Blood Rabbit’ will begin spawning in battles. Defeat it as soon as possible to stop it from replacing normal battles as those can reward you with valuable items/EXP!

Character Tips

Valentine: Overall, a very easy character, unless you can’t find a Gun

• Without a gun, run away from fights against tough foes if possible
• With Apples + Fish, you can gain LVLs early to get to LVL 4 as soon as possible to get upgrades
• By unlocking your basic attack EX, you can resist status stacks being reset (this can be done for free at a campfire or for FA meter in the Skill Menu)

Valundyne: The strongest unit by far, but with his low HP, a Game Over may sneak in if not careful

• With Apples + Fish, you can gain LVLs early to get to LVL 4 as soon as possible to get upgrades

UT: The bulkiest character, but weak against foes that reset your status stacks

• By unlocking your basic attack EX, you can resist status stacks being reset (this can be done for free at a campfire or for FA meter in the Skill Menu)

Darx: A fast character that can struggle if no TECH or Guns are found early

• Always outspeeds AGI-boosted fairies, thus he can easily KO foes that spawn alongside them
